urge (Gian Piero Giovannini) was born in Bologna in 1981. He has fallen in love with product design during his training in architecture at University of Ferrara and at The Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts in Copenhagen. He always rides his bicycle, sometimes flies his hang glider, but above all he’s completely into his many ideas. A great passion and many awards were the first steps to set in 2014 his studio as a product designer. He also enjoys self-production to get involved in the whole product development process. Part of his projects are manufactured in cooperation with skilled craftsmen.
